What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I am a Licensed Conveyancer in the Residential Conveyancing team. My experience includes dealing with freehold and leasehold property transactions as well as new-build and shared ownership properties. I am experienced in dealing with registered and unregistered land and adverse possession applications.
I can also advise on the Government’s Help to Buy Scheme, including Help to Buy ISAs.
What’s your career background?
I originally started in the mortgage industry in 2006 processing mortgage applications and later went on to qualify as a mortgage advisor. I worked very closely with a local estate and letting agents and gained valuable experienced of the housing industry.
I started working within the Residential Conveyancing in April 2009. I started in the administration team and progressed over the years to running my own case load. In 2014 I decided to further my understanding of conveyancing and obtain my Licensed Conveyancer qualification which I obtained in 2018.
Why conveyancing?
Conveyancing is so fast paced and new things are always on the horizon. I get to speak with a variety of people of a daily basis. It is such a great feeling when you can finally tell a client that they have completed on their dream house.
What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?
The team at HPL is like a big family. We are always on hand to help each other out. There are always development opportunities and ways to progress within the company. Over the years I have trained many assistants and have seen them progress to running their own files.
What makes your house a home?
My family.
