What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?

I work within the New Business team, looking after the enquiries and files we receive from our referrer clients. Day-to-day I manage daily completion checking, invoicing and weekly reports detailing completions, aborts and instructions. I also check through the Memorandum of Sale to ensure details are correct and targets are reached.

What’s your career background?

I studied beauty therapy at college for three years and worked in hospitality before making the decision to change career path. My sister was the one to recommend Home Property Lawyers as a great place for training and progression and I joined the team, initially in an admin role, in 2014.

Why conveyancing?

What convinced me at first was the good reputation of the company. I had heard positive things about the working environment and friendly team. Once I got into the role, I found that I really enjoyed the variety of the work, building strong working relationships and the opportunities for career development.
