Conveyancing Administrator

At Home Property Lawyers we are looking to expand our administration team to support our conveyancers with an ever growing workflow. We have an excellent track record for internal promotion and therefore this could be the perfect starting block to your career within Conveyancing.

We are a friendly, collaborative and driven team of expert lawyers who are committed to making buying or selling a home as simple, stress-free and straightforward as possible. The service we deliver is paramount and our administrators play an integral role in the delivery of this.

You will be responsible for;

  • Taking new instructions from estate agents and clients
  • Making welcome call to clients to introduce Home Property Lawyers & take full details of transaction
  • Taking money on account
  • Opening new files and ensuring client care letters are prepared and sent within 24 hours of receipt of instruction
  • Ensuring fees and contents of pack to clients are accurate
  • Progressing files before handing to conveyancer, for example
  • Chasing client care pack/MOA from client
  • Obtaining estate agent memorandums of sales & brochures
  • Calling solicitors  for contract packs
  • Logging client documentation and updating details on our case management system
  • Following up with clients if information is missing

This will be a demanding and fast paced role and will suit those who have a keen eye for detail, an ability to prioritise and fantastic communication skills.
