What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I am a Conveyancer and am responsible for my own caseload of freehold, leasehold and unregistered transactions.
What’s your career background?
I am a graduate of both the University of Sheffield and the University of Westminster with a first class degree in History as well as a Law degree. I am currently studying further with CILEX to become a Legal Executive.
I have spent years in the property industry from development, trade, investment portfolios and interiors learning first hand the aims, motivations and desires of clients when they buy, sell and build property.
I love everything about property and always have. Every small piece of information spurs me on to learn another and another. A career in the Law has always been my goal and property was the obvious specialism for me.
What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?
The individual characters of my colleagues are evident. Everyone has a distinct personality which is nurtured whilst still maintaining incredibly high levels of professionalism within the firm. Everyone has their own unique approach to the issues that can arise in Conveyancing but we all join together to solve problems and get the best outcome for our clients. We may have files allocated to us individually but every matter is dealt with by a true team.
What makes your house a home?
My book collection! I’ve carted it around the country from house-to-house, watched it grow, taken care of it and refused to part with even a single tome. If a fire broke out, I’d save the books first. I would have been useless at Alexandria; locked in a storage house clutching the scrolls as the place came down ... “NOOOO, SAVE THE KNOWLEDGGGEEEE”.
"My experience was extremely positive and I would particularly like to thank Lauren Burgess whose understanding phone calls were very welcome."
"On completion day Bria was on leave but arranged for a colleague Lauren to progress the transaction to completion. She too demonstrated a professional and dedicated attitude."
