What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?

I am a Conveyancing Executive in our Residential Conveyancing Department. I run a caseload consisting of both Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases and I work closely with solicitors, estate agents and clients to ensure a smooth transaction straight through to completion.

What’s your career background?

Previously I worked as a Paralegal in a Specialist New Build team at another local firm of Solicitors, where I acted for a National developer. I have direct experience in maintaining a strong working relationship with commercial clients.

I have an Upper Second Class Honours Law Degree, having graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2017. During my time at University I was the Deputy Head of Firm at the University’s Law Clinic, providing pro-bono advice to clients based in the City of Lincoln area. I also undertook Mooting as part of my Degree, providing me with in court experience.

I hope to qualify as a Solicitor in the near future, using an alternative route to qualification via the CILEX course and undertaking professional practice as opposed to the usual Training Contract route to qualification.

Why conveyancing?

I love that each conveyancing transaction is different – it provides a constant challenge that never gets boring. There is always something to learn in the world of conveyancing! I also love the client care element am always happy when a client’s transaction is completed. Clients are often overjoyed to be moving into their new home!

What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?

I love working at Home Property Lawyers because there is always a buzz in the air. Everyone always works so hard to achieve their client’s goal and client satisfaction is at the heart of everything that we do. There is always someone on hand to help and it is a real team effort from start to finish.

What makes your house a home?

My house would not be a home without my pet cat, Nebula. She is an adorable bundle of joy and I know that I am home when I can hear her purring from her cat tree.  We have even managed to teach her to sit (for a treat though, of course!)
