What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I am a Conveyancing Executive and speak to clients, agents and related solicitors on a daily basis. I deal with sales and purchases including registered/unregistered properties and leasehold/freehold properties.
What’s your career background?
I started working at Home Property 4 years ago in the admin department and progressed to become an assistant after being here for 6 months. I completed my assistant training and started to take on my own files here and there whilst assisting my conveyancer. I was then offered the opportunity to take on my own files as well as being sponsored to start studying the CLC course to become a Licenced Conveyancer. I am currently still studying.
I’ve dealt with a variety of transactions including new build plots, shared ownership, Help to Buy ISAs, Help to Buy loans, deed of variations and others.
I enjoy working in conveyancing as there is a variety of transactions ongoing at the same time meaning no day is ever the same. I enjoy building relationships with my referring agents and my clients throughout the course of their transaction.
What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?
I love that everyone gets on so well as it makes working together as a team effortless.
